Next layout

This is the third layout I made using the Kaisercraft papers from Angel Crafts.

I used the Fiskars threading water punch for the scallops. I LOVE that punch.

Ths chipboard in Lil Davis and there is a tiny bit of Hambly there too. The photo shows the kids eating chocolate con churros in madrid. The chocolate cafe is called Chocolateria San Gines, and if you are ever in madrid you should make a point of checking out the wonderful art deco interior.

Layout

This is a layout I did for Angel Crafts using Kaiser craft papers.
This range is in lovely muted colours and is perfect for a masculine page, but with a hint of softness. The colours also suit the heathery landscape of Scotland.
The photo was taken on Christmas Day. We always go for a family walk on Christmas day, no matter what the weather. Last Christmas was a beautiful day-cold, but dry and crisp!
This layout uses leftovers from the Autumn layout I posted earlier. I made 3 page layouts from the 4 pieces of paper in the collection- it is amazing how far 4 pieces of paper can go, especially when they are double sided. I'll post the 3rd layout tomorrow.

Deco Page

I'm in a Deco page swap over at Scrapbook Sisters Forum. If you're looking to join a small friendly forum why not try it? A Deco page is just like a CJ, except you swap pages on an individual basis and don't send complete albums-which is great because you save on postage and have more pennies to spend on stash!!
My page was made for Jeannie, whose theme was birds. This is a simple page using collaged printed paper and music paper, distress inks, stickles, glimmer mist and a vintage paper napkin. The printed paper is a poem I found on the internet about robins, so it suited the page. If you are using inks or glimmer mists make sure you print with a laser printer or else your letters will smudge, smear and bleed. (I found that out on my last LO for The Creative Type!!!!)

The CreaTive Type

The new prompt at The Creative Type is up. This weeks prompt is about using song lyrics for your journalling.
I have used some of the lyrics from 'Thank You For The Days'. It is a song by Ray Davies of The Kinks, who did the original version, but I also love the version by the late, great Kirsty MacColl.

I had a lot of fun doing this layout. I LOVE doing my CT layouts. I try to be a bit experimental and am loving using paint techniques just now.

Who wouldn't love to scrap this gorgeous picture?


This LO uses fabulous Kaiser craft papers from Angel Crafts.




I cut out one of the motifs and layered it up on top of another one with foam pads.
And some stickles adds a bit of glitz, as do the rhinestones.


Not sure what happened to the colour in the picture above!

Layout

Here is a layout I did for Scrapbook Sisters, using Sandylion papers.
Another distressed layout. Part of the kit was gold wire so I made this little bird cage with it.
I must confess the cage was NOT my idea. I saw it on a fabulous canvas made by SUE. Sue does gorgeous mixed media art!
This is not the best photo because I actually forgot to photograph it before I sent it off to be displayed in the shop.

Layout for Elsa

I used February's Ribbon Kit from Angel Crafts for this layout.
Lots of techniques-stamping, inking, tearing, distressing, napkin technique, and layering.

Crowabout

I like to participate in the CROWABOUT group from time to time.
Nancy posts a page of random images, and the idea is to use the images to create a collage, or art journal page. It's kind of like doing a jigsaw-but with all the pieces coming from different puzzles.I love joining in because it gets the old grey cells working..
Anyway, this is my latest effort!
