I will..

update this blog soon, I promise. I was caught up in the volcanic ash situation last week and our 4 day holiday in Madrid turned into 13 days-and a lot of expense, so I am chasing my tail this week, trying to catch up at work, at home etc. But hopefully I'll get everything under control and will get scrapping and blogging soon.

As promised..

...some more of the festival journal published in the latest edition of Somerset Memories. Someone asked where I get my Somerset magazines from- well I buy direct from Stampington and Co. I don't know how the price compares with buying them in the UK, but since I don't know where in the UK I can buy one from, then ordering direct is the only option for me.

...What came through my letterbox today:
I LOVE Somerset Memories.
It is full of amazing layouts and art work,
by exceptionally talented artists and scrapbookers,
which is why....

I am beyond thrilled....

to have been published there:
Some of the pages from my festival journal of last year. I will upload some of the other pages tomorrow, as I need to trawl through my photos to find them.
Sorry about the quality of these photos-I didn't want to bend the magazine and break the spine.

In print..

The new prompt at The Creative Type is up, and has been for a week now-I can't believe I forget to blog about this last week, especially because it connects to an article I wrote that was published in the latest edition of The Scrapbook Magazine!!
The article was about Challenge blogs, and I chose very different challenge blogs to focus on:
and of course my favourite challenge blos is THE CREATIVE TYPE. Why not go and check it out (There's big changes afoot there too, coming soon....)
Here's my layout;

I'm on holidays...

...two weeks off. And much needed too! Yes!
I'm planning to do some spring cleaning-whoopee!! OK it's not fun, but I know I'll feel so much better for it. And I intend to clean my scrapping space too, and that can be interesting, rediscovering long forgotten stash! And I'm also going to Madrid, so that'll be my reward for all that cleaning!
Anyway, here's a layout:

This is the La Di Da range from Kaisercrafts-perfect for handcutting and layering-and great for Spring photos. But would you believe, here it is, April 1st, and there's snow on the ground outside-and that's NOT an April fool's joke!!!
